I know I won't say this on Friday because I'll be busy photographing a wedding - but I am so.very.grateful that the holidays start on Friday.  I love school holidays and the time I have with my little girl.  They can't come quickly enough.  A few lovely things planned in amongst weddings and editing.  No early starts and no lunches and, best of all, my little buddy by my side!

My big brother - my wonderful, gracious, caring big brother....left yesterday.  For me, that's a reason to be sad not grateful.

What my brother brings into my life is what I'm grateful for and it's also the reason I'm sad he's gone.  He challenges me with gentle words that he doesn't even know are challenging.  He encourages me in ways no one else does.

I feel very blessed to have him in my life.

Gosh am I ever grateful for an electric drill....and the fact that Gra left it home for me!

Putting flat packs together is horrible work - but so much better with a drill!

I woke up feeling horrible still - but I decided to soldier on and go to Church.

I'm so glad I did.  Great message, great catch up with some people I haven't caught up to for ages.

More Bunnings and more work in the garage.  It's been a good day.

Our annual Ambulance ACO Conference was today.

I decided to have the Flu shot as I've done for the past 3 years.

Today I'm grateful I haven't had the same reaction for the past 3 years!  I've had full blown flu symptoms and it's been horrible.

We have had such a lovely day together.  Bunnings, frame shop for a print I bought in Bali, lunch together (rare) and then Bunnings again and back home to pick up my girl.

I have really enjoyed our day and loved spending it with the man of my heart.

Even though my guy is soooo exhausted still, we achieved so much today.  The house is fine inside, but the garage has need quite a bit of work in the way of shelving etc.

He's devised a plan and we're off to Wangaratta tomorrow to get things started! I'm grateful for him!
