Today I gave a Plasma donation. Not the first time, not the last.
As I sat there watching the cells leave my body, get spun around and then the red cells returned I thought about how amazing the world is today. We walk around every day with our bodies making and using the blood to keep us alive. It is red gold. To be able to give my plasma to help people who need it is, to me, one of life's privileges and I'm grateful for the technology that means I can.
